Samar Pal Bais
Founder & CEO
PiRentz was founded by Samar Pal Bais, an accomplished Mechanical Engineer with a degree from NIT Jalandhar. His career spans significant roles with industry giants such as Gammon, GMMCO, JCB, Terex, and Kobeclo. Beginning as a service engineer, Samar advanced to manage all facets of business operations. His professional journey includes substantial experience in India, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to founding PiRentz, he was based in Qatar, but his vision for PiRentz brought him back to India.
Samar's early years were spent in the iron ore mining colonies of NMDC, inspired by his father, the late Sh. H.S. Bais, who was also a mechanical engineer. This upbringing instilled in him a deep passion for earthmoving equipment, which naturally evolved into the creation of PiRentz. His enduring enthusiasm for equipment and technology drives the innovation at the heart of PiRentz.
Raghupati Bhuwalka & Amita Bhuwalka
Co-Founders & Directors
Raghupati Bhuwalka, a proud alumnus of Mayo College and a Kolkata-born entrepreneur, embarked on his journey in the construction equipment dealership business with IR in 1999, starting modestly with just five employees. Amita Bhuwalka, a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Kolkata-born entrepreneur, joined the Suchita Group in 2022.
Together, Raghupati and Amita have significantly expanded and diversified the business, transforming it into a multifaceted enterprise that includes multi-brand equipment dealerships, rental fleets, mining, crushing and screening, and earthwork contracting, employing a robust workforce of over 1,000 people. Their recent addition of a Toyota car showroom in Kolkata marks Suchita Group's foray into the automotive sector.
M Krishnan Narayanan
Co-Founder & Director
As a Co-Founding Investor and Non-Executive Board Member, Krishnan Narayanan leverages his expertise to help traditional businesses embrace digital transformation and enhance their agility. He bridges the gap between functional stakeholders and technology players, driving organizational growth and innovation through strategic insights and leadership. He carries more than two decades of experience in steering organizational transformation and strategic business initiatives.
Krishnan's prior roles at Capco IT Services and CA Technologies, combined with a Master's in Computer Science, uniquely position him to integrate business with technology. Krishnan currently serves as the Group Head of Human Resources at Al Mahhar Holding based in Qatar. He oversees HR functions for eight companies across the energy and infrastructure sectors, managing a diverse workforce of over 600 employees from 36 nationalities.
